Enchantment Photo Sessions

So the other day I walked into the house and I immediately smelled nail polish...and of course I assumed that Kayleigh had gotten into the nail polish, and sort of freaked out on her (partly because there is already a nice decor of pink and purple nail polish all throughout the house) and so I went and looked in her bunk bed...I found markers but no nail polish, but I scolded her anyways...

Needless to say, the next morning Joseph showed me where someone had broken a bottle of nail polish in our bathroom...which was too high for her to reach (and that was when I realized that I MUST HAVE BROKEN THE NAIL POLISH in my hurry to get a q-tip the afternoon before)

SO-I had to apologize to Kayleigh ( I seriously felt horrible about it! ) And thus began the ..."To make it up to you-I will do your make-up...OK?!" :) She was excited...and then she wanted to be a butterfly! It was beautiful-I took these pictures with my cell phone, and considering the low pixel quality I thought they turned out amazing. This spontaneous photo session gave me an inspiration...

ENCHANTMENT PHOTO SESSIONS!
I want to offer young children the opportunity to be photographed by waterfalls and other forms of nature with wings... I want to handcraft wings for them (based on their favorite color of course) and after taking classic pictures of them (no face paint), I want to artistically paint their faces and take more pictures as well. I think this would be a fun birthday gift to little girls and their friends, and I also think it would be the sweetest pictures to decorate the walls of a small child's room! I want to offer these sessions in the spring/summer/fall. Please comment if you think it might spark an interest!

Candice Grigg's 21st Birthday Celebration

So this weekend I had the opportunity to photograph the lovely Miss Candice Griggs for her 21st birthday celebration! We had a short photo session at her apartment with her best friends, before heading to Nashville of course!

The Beautiful Birthday Girl!

Miss Ashley

Candice also wanted some special snapshots of her and her boyfriend Michael. They are the sweetest couple of all time!

So after the mini photo session...we headed to Nashville. We met up with Candice's cousin, Wesley, at the Varsity Grille, so he could serve Candice her first LEGAL drink ;) Needless to say, that drink was AMAZINGLY MAGICAL!

The girls seemed to enjoy their time at Varsity Grille...and then we headed downtown to "The Big Bang" and took some photos on the Balcony!
Miss Ashley with her model posing ;) SO AWESOME!

All of the ladies were gorgeous and made my job super easy! After our photo shoot on the balcony at "The Big Bang" the girls headed to Cadillac Ranch for more dancing and more fun! I had so much fun photographing this birthday celebration!

Pursuing my Passion

To bring in the New Year I have decided to pursue my passion for photography. January has been filled with taking tons of pictures, setting prices, gathering images for my portfolio, and designing my own web site. I am so thankful to my family and friends for believing in me and supporting me throughout this entire endeavor!

Thank you for visiting Serene Spaces Blog! This is where I post snapshots of my current work!

I had a vision for this photography service when my son, Cade, was first born. I didn't understand why I was only given the option to purchase certain poses of his photo collection. I wanted ALL of his photos! So I decided to act on my entrepreneurial idea and develop a small photography business that offers the opportunity for clients to have access to ALL OF THEIR PHOTOS!

What can I say? I am an artist. I love visual communication. If you are looking for stiff studio photography, I am not what you are looking for. If you are looking for dazzling, artistic images, and you want A SERENE PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE, with sweet and simple pricing, Serene Spaces will be more than happy to schedule a unique photo session for you!

Serene Spaces Photography offers an on site photography coverage service. Our photography collections consist of photo shoots taken at locations chosen by our clients. We take pride in our artistic ability to capture the essence of your specific event utilizing natural light.

We also encourage you to bring meaningful props, specifically small children. Nothing is more precious than a child with their favorite toy, stuffed animal, or blankie.
